Brighter Futures
At Pearson, we are committed to supporting schools in their mission to become more sustainable and in helping to shape a future generation of sustainably minded, global citizens.
Over the past few years, we have seen in both our project qualifications and initiatives, that there is a real thirst for driving proactive change in this space. We are excited to build on this passion and are working with key partners in the sector to support schools, students and parents to make education enriching for all learners.

Practical advice from inspiring environmentalists and educators
Our Sustainability and Climate Lead, Clare Cox, puts questions to leading environmentalists and educators in our Ask the Expert series, providing you with practical advice and tips on how to make your school more sustainable and eco-friendly.

Explore sustainability and climate change through an Extended Project Qualification (EPQ)
Our EPQ allows learners to independently focus a research project on sustainability or climate change. Through meaningful research learners will gain a deeper and broader understanding of key environmental issues, while exploring creative climate solutions.
Successful EPQ learners will receive a free one-year subscription to content at IEMA.

The Future of Design Education
We’re excited to announce plans to drive forward a new, future-focused design and technology (D&T) curriculum that inspires children and young people to become the creative problem solvers of the future.
The new design education curriculum would support a natural transition from its current focus to a more sustainable approach in which learners are challenged to design solutions for citizens that address key global issues.
